4. Puzzle using a custom photograph

Trend alert! : How to create a Boho Rainbow Nursery

These modern boho rainbow designs may be my favorite current trend at the moment! I love the playfulness of a rainbow mixed with the neutrals of the boho look. An Industrial Shared Boy's Room with a Hint of Minecraft

My 2 Boys share a room. They have since they were itsy bitsy. We are currently renting, so they will be sharing for a bit longer until we buy a home. Their room was a Minecraft theme that I created a couple of years ago (see more about that room here). But since they are now outgrowing Minecraft, they wanted something a bit more grownup.

My oldest son loves modern architecture and science, while my younger son loves vintage video games. I love how we were able to decorate each side using their individual interests.

If you are interested in any of the items I used, I linked as many as I could at the bottom (some are affiliate links).

On my oldest son’s side, I used a modern architecture print as well as some geometric prints. They represent his interests. I also added his grade 8 graduation diploma.

This poster is still in a minecraft theme, but is a bit more mature than most of the ones I have found.

My youngest son’s side has more of a vintage video game vibe. I painted a large canvas to look like an NES controller and added his name to it too!.

I created these letter signs with round picture frames I found at a thrift store. I just cut out the letters from thick cardstock, painted them silver, and sprinkled a bit of cinnamon on them while the paint was still wet to give them a rusted metal look.

My Boy's Minecraft Inspired Bedroom

A few years ago my boys were obsessed with Minecraft. They specifically asked for beds to look like the ones in Minecraft and they wanted posters that looked like they were looking out a window in to a Minecraft world. So I took apart their bunkbeds and created this room for them!

These minecraft decals above the beds were amazing. It looks just like a window looking out into a Minecraft universe. You can find one here on Etsy

They have so many Minecraft collectibles, from Lego, to figurines to Minecraft stuffies. I devoted their bookshelf to displaying all these items.

The storage bins to the right were just cheap fabric bins and I painted the minecraft creeper and slime faces on them. The pickaxe and swords on the wall were just foam toys I hung up for decor.

These piggy banks were hand painted by me, but I no longer make this design because they are incredibly time consuming. All those pixels!!

Modern Neutral Farm Themed Nursery

It can be hard to create a farm themed nursery that still feels clean, modern and sophisticated. A lot of the farm themed bedding on the market is very cartoonish and won't blend well with todays clean and modern designs.
